CMF Phone 1: An Unmissable Black Friday Offer
If you’re in the market for a new phone this Black Friday, you’re likely keen on snagging a good deal. Amidst the well-known discounts on Samsung and Pixel devices, there’s one deal flying under the radar that you definitely shouldn’t overlook – the CMF Phone 1. And yes, it’s a fantastic find for the price.
The Price Slash: Truly Incredible
So, the CMF Phone 1 – the inaugural mobile from Nothing’s offshoot brand, CMF – was already quite affordable, starting at £209 in the UK. But now, thanks to Amazon’s Black Friday sale, it’s been reduced to an astonishing £169.90. That’s a 19% saving, just in case math isn’t your forte. And the cherry on top? This price is valid for all three colors: Black, Light Green, and that quirky Orange. Nice, right?
US Customers: Don’t Feel Excluded
For the fortunate ones across the Atlantic, there’s a $20 price reduction on the snazzier 256GB variant, bringing it down from $289 to $269. Not as significant as the UK deal, but it’s still the best price for CMF goodness that Americans have encountered so far. And there’s no need for an Amazon Prime account this time, though it will expedite delivery to your doorstep.
What Makes the CMF Phone 1 Unique?
A Standout Budget Phone
Here’s the thing: budget phones are often as thrilling as a dull weekend in Whitley Bay. Boring and all too similar. But the CMF Phone 1? It’s like stumbling upon a decent beer for a fiver – rare yet delightful. It boasts a distinct design with an interchangeable plastic back and a detachable ‘Accessory Point.’ Fancy, right? Makes you think these folks from Nothing have been snacking on genius inspiration.
The Highlights
- Streamlined Software: It operates on Nothing’s unique flavor of Android, which is remarkably smooth and customizable. None of that unnecessary bloatware bogging it down.
- Performance: It’s got substantial power under the hood for the price point. You won’t be tackling the latest Call of Duty at maximum settings, but for everyday tasks? Spot on.
- A Wealth of Accessories: A variety of practical fun gadgets and add-ons that actually make sense, unlike those gimmicky cases that serve as bottle openers. (Who even wanted that?)
The Drawbacks
Nothin’ is flawless, is it? The camera quality is, well, a bit lackluster. If you’re anticipating flagship-level photography, you’re being delusional. But then again, at this price, you’re better off picking up a decent compact camera separately if that’s your interest. For daily snaps? It’ll suffice.
Why It Ranks High in the Budget Category
The CMF Phone 1 isn’t just a low-cost phone; it’s what the budget market has been longing for. A splash of personality, a touch of style, and it accomplishes the essentials remarkably well. There’s a reason it holds a top spot in our best budget phones list.

Listen up, everyone, the CMF Phone 1 isn’t just another budget smartphone; it’s an absolute bargain this Black Friday. Priced at £169.90, it’s cheaper than some of the ridiculous trainers your mate Gary sports at CrossFit. Sleek design, solid performance, and a price that won’t make your wallet weep? Job done. Snag one for yourself before they vanish. (And don’t say I didn’t warn you if your partner swipes it for her own use.)
