When Might Nosferatu Be Available on VOD? Don’t Bet Your Breath
In the US, Nosferatu is under the guidance of Focus Features, the same team that brought us Robert Eggers’s *The Northman*. Originally, *The Northman* appeared on VOD approximately three weeks after its theatrical release. Nice, isn’t it? But don’t expect the same timeline here – Nosferatu is making quite the splash at the box office, exceeding $100 million globally. That’s impressive for this kind of film, so they won’t be in any hurry to release it digitally.
If you’re in the states, you might see it on VOD **around late January 2025**, if luck is on your side. In the UK, the film debuted a week later, so we may have to hold out until **early February 2025**. They say patience is a virtue, but I say that’s a load of nonsense.
When Might Nosferatu Make Its Streaming Debut? Streaming Vampires? Sounds Like My Internet’s a Bit Off
In the USA, Nosferatu appears to be heading for Peacock, as Focus Features is part of NBCUniversal. Now, here’s the intriguing part: their other films typically become available for streaming around six to seven weeks after their cinema release. This places *Nosferatu* on track for a streaming launch on Peacock **approximately February 11, 2025** – plus or minus a bit.
In the UK, we generally see such films on Sky or Now. However, there’s been no confirmation for Nosferatu, so don’t come knocking on my door if it takes longer. Timing, like vampires, can be an absolute hassle.
When Might Nosferatu Hit DVD/Blu-ray? For the Dedicated Collectors
If you’re someone who enjoys physical copies (yes, I’m referring to DVDs), then you’ll need to wait until after the digital release. Focus Features typically doesn’t dawdle, so I’m guessing we can expect Nosferatu on DVD or Blu-ray by **late February 2025**.
Still, this is purely my educated guess. If I receive more information, I’ll update this review quicker than a vampire flees from garlic bread.
