# Avatar: Seven Havens – A Fresh Bender’s Story is Coming!
Yes, it’s true, everyone! Almost twenty years since *Avatar: The Last Airbender* first appeared on our screens, Nickelodeon is delivering another animated series set in this cherished universe. This new journey, *Avatar: Seven Havens*, is currently in the works and will take place following *The Legend of Korra*.
Curious about the release date, the identity of this new Avatar, and the turmoil they’re about to face? Buckle up. Here’s what we’ve uncovered so far.
## When Will *Avatar: Seven Havens* Premiere?
Alright, let’s clarify this right away—there’s no release date announced yet. Nickelodeon confirmed the show on **20th February 2025**, but they’re tight-lipped about when we will actually see it.
What we do know is it will follow an upcoming animated film featuring **Aang and the crew as adults**, scheduled for **30th January 2026**. Considering that, it seems **unlikely that we’ll catch *Seven Havens* before late 2026 or even 2027**. A long wait, but good things are worth it.
## How Many Episodes Will *Avatar: Seven Havens* Have?
It’s going to be a **two-season** affair—*Book 1* and *Book 2*, each consisting of **13 episodes**. That gives us a solid **26 episodes in total**, so at least we’ll have a nice slice of content when it finally arrives.
## What’s the Storyline of *Avatar: Seven Havens*?
Here’s the exciting part. The official announcement from Nickelodeon states:
> *Avatar: Seven Havens* takes place in a world torn apart by a catastrophic event. A young **Earthbender** realizes she’s the next Avatar after Korra – but in this perilous time, her title designates her as humanity’s scourge, not its hero. **Pursued by both human and spirit foes**, she and her estranged twin must unravel their enigmatic past and safeguard the Seven Havens before the last remnants of civilization fall.
Sounds fantastic, right? But wait, there’s more.
Speculation suggests this new Avatar is named **Pavi**, and she has a **twin sister named Nisha**. While Pavi’s been **struggling on the streets**, Nisha’s been enjoying a life of luxury. When they eventually come together, **they both assert that they are the Avatar**. Classic sibling rivalry.
In terms of geography, since Pavi is an **Earthbender**, expect to revisit familiar sites like **Ba Sing Se and Omashu**. And if fortune smiles upon us, we might even witness the return of spirits from **Aang and Korra**, just like past Avatars appeared in previous series.
## Is There a Trailer for *Avatar: Seven Havens*?
Nope, not at this moment. However, there is an **announcement video** featuring **Dante Basco (Zuko) and Janet Varney (Korra)**, which they released via their *Avatar* podcast. No actual footage yet, but at least we’re aware it’s on the way.
## How to Watch *Avatar: Seven Havens*
Since this is a **Nickelodeon production**, you can expect it to air on regular **Nick TV channels**. But what about streaming?
Nickelodeon’s series often make their way to **Paramount+**, and the press release suggests this one will as well. However, all existing *Avatar* shows are available on **Netflix**, so there’s a **slight possibility it could appear there** in the future as well. No official confirmation yet, though.
## Final Thoughts – *Another Avatar? Count Me In!*
Let’s be real—*Avatar: The Last Airbender* was an **absolute classic**, Korra had its **peaks and valleys**, but we’re still eager for more bending adventures. *Seven Havens* sounds like it’s **venturing into darker territory**, and with the **twin Avatar angle**, I’m thoroughly intrigued.
Just gotta make it through this drawn-out wait. Nickelodeon, come on, speed it up, will ya?
