Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Finally Arrives on VOD in the UK – About Time!
The third installment of the Sonic series has landed, and it’s a real treat. Fans of the beloved blue blur have been buzzing for this release, and it’s easy to see why – it’s packed with exhilarating chaos, thrilling action scenes, and the introduction of the new fan-favorite character, Shadow the Hedgehog, brilliantly voiced by none other than Keanu Reeves.
Team Sonic is facing a tough challenge this round, battling the “Ultimate Life Form” alongside another unexpected foe. If you haven’t caught it in theaters yet, there’s still time – but if the thought of watching it from the comfort of your couch with a cup of tea sounds more appealing, I’ve got the scoop on where you can stream, rent, or purchase it. Let’s dive in.
When Did Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Release in Cinemas?
It’s still screening in theaters across the UK and the US.
If you’re keen on the full cinema experience, you can secure tickets from AMC Theatres, Fandango, and Atom Tickets if you’re in the US. Those in the UK can head to Vue, Cineworld, or Odeon. Don’t miss out; grab your tickets now.
When Can You Get Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on VOD?
At last, after what seemed like forever, Sonic 3 is now available for digital purchase in the UK. Paramount has officially announced its release, and you can get it right away.
For those in the US, you can buy it for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99 on Amazon.
UK fans can purchase it for £13.99 via Amazon, but if you simply want to rent it, you’ll need to hold on until 10 March 2025. Something to anticipate, right?
When Will Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Be Available on Streaming Services?
Paramount+ will be the first platform to host it. If you’re a Sky subscriber in the UK, you might snag a complimentary subscription. What a deal!
For viewers in the US, Sonic 3 is set to stream on Paramount+ starting from 18 February 2025. Subscriptions begin at $7.99 per month, which isn’t too bad if you enjoy other offerings on the platform.
In the UK, there isn’t an official release date for streaming just yet, but since Sonic 2 became available for VOD and Paramount+ simultaneously, there’s a good chance Sonic 3 will follow suit. Anticipate its arrival between 24 February and 10 March 2025.
Eventually, it may also find its way to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, but don’t count on that happening in the near future – it’s a while away.
When Will Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Be Available on DVD & Blu-ray?
If you prefer physical media, Sonic 3 will be released on 4K UHD SteelBook, 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD on 14 April 2025 in the UK.
American fans will only need to wait a day longer – it will be available on 15 April 2025. Worth the wait, if you ask me.
