Alien: Romulus – Stream It, If You Dare!
Alright, folks, it’s been a solid seven years since we’ve laid eyes on those gooey, acid-spewing horrors. “Alien: Covenant”—let’s face it—was a bit of a letdown, yeah? So it’s no surprise Hollywood took a breather. But don’t down your drink just yet, ’cause “Alien: Romulus” is stepping up to give the series another go. Fede Álvarez is directing this time around, so let’s keep our fingers crossed he doesn’t deliver a snooze-fest like Ridley Scott!
Cailee Spaeny takes the lead as Rain Carradine, leading a bunch of unfortunate space blokes against what we can only imagine is a drooling Xenomorph with some serious mood swings. If you ask us real Geordies, the cinema is the place to be for a flick like this. But if you can’t be bothered to venture out or are simply curious when you can view it from your sofa, here’s the rundown for streaming, VOD, and DVD release timelines. Let’s dive in!
When’s Alien: Romulus Coming to VOD?
Great news, mate—Alien: Romulus is ready for your viewing! The flick became available on VOD on Tuesday, 15th of October 2024. So if you’ve got a tenner burning in your pocket, you’re all set.
In the US, you can snag it on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, or Vudu.
For our UK viewers, you can check it out on Prime Video UK or Microsoft Store to get in on the fun.
When Can You Stream Alien: Romulus?
US fans, you lucky souls—it’s already available on Hulu. A Hulu subscription starts at $7.99 monthly, though, so hope you’re as thrifty with those fees as a Geordie grandma in a discount shop.
It was released on Hulu on 21 November 2024. But for us Brits, we still don’t have a date for when it’ll arrive on Disney+. Typical, isn’t it? We’re left hanging while the Americans have all the fun.
When Can You Get It on DVD/Blu-ray?
For our friends in the US, physical editions of “Alien: Romulus” are set to be released on Thursday, 3 December 2024. You can grab it by pre-ordering from Amazon US.
And for us in the UK, we get it a wee bit earlier—2 December 2024. Beat the crowd and pre-order from Amazon UK. Aren’t regional release dates a treat?
