Qualcomm has unveiled its latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile processors, and here are the devices confirmed to utilize them.
As we mentioned yesterday, the recent Snapdragon Summit has introduced a duo of chips that will be powering premium Android devices for the upcoming year and beyond.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 acts as the successor to last year’s 8 Elite Gen 5, featured in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. This year, however, a new “Extreme” variant has been introduced, specifically crafted for the “agentic AI era.”
In other words, it excels at AI tasks.
You can find details about these fast new chips in our dedicated article. We’re here to provide you with the list of devices that have already been verified to use them.
Here they are, in alphabetical order.
Honor Magic 9 Pro Max
Honor has been making significant strides with its flagship smartphone lineup in recent years, taking on competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo with its camera-centric hardware. Its upcoming premium phone, the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max, is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor.
It is expected to harness all that power to boost its Arri-branded video camera capabilities.

iQoo 16 and Pad Ultra
This Vivo sub-brand is not available in the UK, but they usually adopt Qualcomm’s最新 chips early. This time is no different, as both the iQoo 16 smartphone and iQoo Pad Ultra tablet are confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chips at their joint launch on September 29.
Though unclear which variant will be used, it is likely that the ‘Ultra’ tablet will opt for the Extreme configuration, while the phone may stick with the standard chip.
Motorola Signature 27
The upcoming flagship device from Motorola, succeeding the sleek Motorola Signature, was showcased alongside Qualcomm’s new chip series. The Motorola Signature 27 is set to be an enticingly premium option, powered by the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
Anticipate several AI innovations when it launches later this year.

OnePlus 16
The OnePlus 16 will mark the first flagship phone from OnePlus that won’t debut in the West, which is somewhat disappointing. However, it’s encouraging to see that it will run on Qualcomm’s Elite chip, meaning it won’t quite reach the peak performance of the OnePlus 15.
RedMagic 12 Pro
Nubia’s gaming smartphone sub-brand is consistently found at the forefront of mobile performance, so it’s no astonishment that they quickly confirmed that the upcoming RedMagic 12 Pro will operate on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 upon its release in early November.
Xiaomi 18 Pro series
Xiaomi quickly aligned itself with Qualcomm’s new silicon. It is distributing the new chips across its forthcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series, with the standard model featuring the regular 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
The series is set to launch in China today, so stay tuned for additional details.

And the rest
While we lack specific model announcements, Qualcomm has revealed that devices from Vivo and, interestingly, Xiaomi’s Redmi budget brand, will be utilizing its new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processors.
