Pixel Care+ Has Finally Arrived in the UK
Google has finally chosen to spread the joy and introduced its Pixel Care+ program to us here in the UK after what seems like forever.
A Quick Background
Pixel Care+ first launched on 27th August 2025, just before the Google Pixel 10 became available. At that time, only our friends in the U.S. could take advantage of the benefits, replacing the Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection services.
What’s in It for Us?
Starting today, July 9th, we can get on board with Pixel Care+ and access same-day repairs using authentic parts for your Google device. Need a replacement? Typically, they’ll send one out to you by the next business day.
Unlimited Damage Claims
With Pixel Care+, you can submit unlimited claims for damage if you’re prone to accidents like drops, spills, and other mishaps for just a small fee. Unlimited screen repairs and battery replacements? All included, with no additional costs.
Breakdown Coverage
You also receive complimentary mechanical and electrical breakdown coverage, even after the standard warranty has expired.
Optional Enhancements
Want some extra peace of mind? You can opt for coverage against loss and theft, allowing for up to three claims each year.
Pixel Care+ UK Pricing
Phone Pricing
Plans start at £4.99 per month or £99 upfront for two years if you’re keeping it simple with your Pixel. Add loss and theft protection for £6.99/£129. There’s a £59 excess for damage claims and a £79 excess for loss and theft coverage.
Smartwatch Protection
Pixel Watch users will pay the same monthly fee, but it’s £89 for a year of basic protection and £119 to include loss and theft coverage.
Fitbit Offers
Fitbit offers a set price of £15 for two years, along with a £15 excess charge.
How to Enroll
Enroll in Pixel Care+ within 60 days of purchasing a new device from the Google Store. Google aims to include third-party sales in the near future.
Switching from Preferred Care
If you’re currently on the Preferred Care plan, you’ll be transitioned to Pixel Care+ without any additional fees.

GadgetLad’s Witty Conclusion
Finally, it’s about time Google provided the Pixel Care+ benefits for us Brits. Whether you’re a frequent phone dropper or simply value reassurance, it’s an attractive offer. But honestly, Google, why the long wait?
