Yet Another Round of Samsung Patent Leaks
Here we go again, Samsung’s been up to their usual tricks, and the newest leaks indicate we’re in for an exciting journey in the foldable and rollable phone arena. Word on the street is that Samsung’s upcoming devices will make the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 seem outdated—no shock there, as those weren’t exactly bestsellers.
But Samsung’s no fool—they’ve been putting in the effort. This time, they’re ready to present some wild concepts. Tri-fold phones? Rollable displays? Aye, now that’s what we want to hear!
Tri-Fold? How About Tri-Harder, Samsung!
First off, we have the leaked concept of a tri-fold Galaxy phone. Just picture a standard folding phone but with three folds instead of one. Yes, you heard correctly—this beauty unfolds once, again, and suddenly you’ve got a tablet. It’s just like a matryoshka doll, but for the tech enthusiast.
Honor might’ve got the jump on Samsung in China with their Mate XT Ultimate, but let’s be real—who cares? It’s a challenge to snag a quality pint over there, not to mention getting hold of a Chinese gadget. So, here we are, waiting for Samsung to mark their territory on the world stage.

Third Time’s the Charm, Right?
The leaked patent reveals a device featuring three panels, with one being bulkier than the others. That thicker section would hold crucial components like cameras, the battery, and the processing unit, ensuring it remains intact if someone drops it in the chip shop.
Fold it up, and it’s a phone. Unfold it once, and it transforms into a larger phone. Unfold it again, and you’ve got ample screen space to binge-watch your latest series while pretending to work. Aye, it’s ingenious. But clever ideas don’t pay the bills—Samsung must make it affordable, or it’ll just be another wild concept that never hits the light of day.
Rollable? More Like Rock ‘n’ Rollable
Now, if you thought the tri-fold was wild, the talked-about rollable Galaxy phone takes it up a notch. This one features a vertical extension, resembling a crazy accordion for gadget fans.
Instead of expanding horizontally like the standard foldables, this device rolls up and down. It begins as a tiny square, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 on a diet, then expands into a standard phone shape when a larger display is needed.
