Lenovo LOQ 15ARP10E Review: Aye, It’s Got Guts, But Is It For You?
Right, listen up! We’re diving into the Lenovo LOQ 15ARP10E today. It’s rocking an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, which is quite the beast if ye ask me. It’s got enough juice to handle yer gaming nights and a spot of multitasking, with 8 cores and 16 threads that can keep up with yer da’s constant flicking between footy streams and online shopping.
Lenovo’s thrown in a 15.6″ FHD display with a cracking 144Hz refresh rate. So, you can dive into “Call of Duty” or whatever floats yer boat, and the only thing blurrier than yer vision after a few pints will be the motion blur that doesn’t exist here. Pair that up with a nice NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, and you’re set for some solid gaming sessions. Ray tracing and all that fancy DLSS stuff means you’ll be lost in another world in no time. Well, until yer belly growls and brings ye back to reality.
Fast. Cool. Quiet. The marketing lads might’ve got carried away, but they’re not far off the mark with this one. There’s a clever cooling tech in there that keeps it quieter than me missus when I’ve done something right for once. No roaring fan noise to ruin your gaming sesh. But I’ll have a word—that keyboard’s not backlit. So, if you’re fond of playing in the dark or just want to look dead cool, sorry pet, you’ll have to bring a lamp.
In terms of storage, you’ve got 512 GB of space, which is bang on if you’re a normal human, but maybe a tad tight if you’re a serial downloader. Now, yer other options like the Dell G5 15 or the Acer Nitro 5 might come with similar specs, but you’ll miss Lenovo’s nifty Legion Space. It’s like one of them fancy pubs that does everything—from fixing yer performance issues to browsing games and grabbing deals. Not bad at all, Lenovo, not bad at all.
This one’s for the casual gamers, the students treating themselves with student loans, or any tech geek who loves a good machine without selling a kidney. But if yer after RGB lights and a backlit keyboard for yer gaming aesthetic, maybe look elsewhere. Proper belter though, especially for the price, and with the promise to secure it for six months, there’s not much to lose. Gadgets get smarter, but you’ll always need a bit of savvy. Stay cheeky, folks!
