In early October, Google revealed that its Gemini AI assistant will be available on Nest smart home gadgets, such as speakers, displays, doorbells, and more. If you’re interested in accessing it, here’s the process to register for early access.

Update: Google has officially announced that the early access for Gemini for Home will begin in the US on 28 October, while other regions will have to wait until 2026.
Gemini’s Grand Debut
The emergence of Gemini was expected, as it has been gradually taking over Google Assistant across various devices, including smartphones and smartwatches. The company mentioned that it will be introduced on every smart device produced in the last ten years.
An Array of Devices
This encompasses the previously mentioned gadgets alongside cameras and the Google Home application as well. Additionally, it will be integrated into the upcoming Google Home Speaker, which is slated for ‘Spring 2026’, and a new Nest Hub display is on the horizon as well.

- Scroll and choose Early access
- Then select Sign up
- You will be alerted when Gemini for Home becomes available
