Newest Dreo misting fan reduced to record low price
Enjoy 15% off already
Last month, I was sweltering in the UK’s severe heatwave, genuinely struggling to cool myself or my home.
This week, despite the scorching temperatures nationwide, I feel surprisingly comfortable (literally) about it all.
The only change? Dreo’s exceptional misting tower fan, helping me accomplish a myriad of tasks more effectively.
It launched earlier this month, originally priced at a fairly reasonable £199.99/$199.99, and it’s already slashed to £169.99/$169.98 during Amazon’s Prime Day sale. A solid 15% off, and yes, it’s the lowest price ever.
The US offer requires a Prime membership and ends by 11:59pm on 26 June, or if stock runs out. In the UK, this isn’t a Prime-exclusive offer, but given the current weather, move quickly, mate.
What the Dreo misting tower fan features
The Dreo TurboCool Misting Fan 765S, to give it its full title, employs a dual approach to keep you cool.
First, it serves as a regular tower fan with twelve intensity levels and an impressive oscillation range. It’s relatively quiet, but on lower settings in Sleep mode, the motor is remarkably silent (only 20dB), ideal for catching some rest.
However, the standout feature, and a significant benefit over most fans, is the misting ability. Utilizing the refillable water tank at the bottom, the 765S releases a fine mist from both sides of the fan grilles. It interacts with the warm air, leading to evaporative cooling.

Dreo claims it can lower the room’s temperature by up to 6°C. I can’t confirm that precisely, but I felt significantly more comfortable sitting near it, even felt a bit chilly in my home office, despite the outside temperature hitting 30°C.
Even if you prefer the mist running continuously, Dreo estimates it’ll last over 24 hours on the lower settings. And since it operates via mains power, there’s no need to worry about battery duration. It comes with a stylish companion app (plenty of scheduling functionalities) and is compatible with both Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice activation.

However, don’t confuse the 765S with a dehumidifier. You can set a targeted humidity level to prevent turning your space into a sauna. So, utilize it in a well-ventilated area – unless you want your bedroom to feel like a steam room (trust me, I’ve experienced that).
Why it’s a great deal
Given the ongoing UK heatwave and more hot days anticipated all summer long, a simple fan may not suffice, mate.
Keep in mind, proper air conditioning units can be costly, take a long time to install, and have high running costs. In contrast, as The Guardian mentions, the Dreo only costs 2p per hour to operate – an incredible bargain.
While it requires a bit of upfront investment, it represents impressive value for such an innovative gadget, and you’ll thank us when the heat sets in, for sure.
