When Does Gladiators Season 2 Begin?

Season 2 is scheduled to start on **Saturday 18 January 2025**, precisely at **5:50pm GMT**. Make sure to free up your calendar, as this is sure to be a fantastic event.

Get ready, because two fresh Gladiators are stepping into the arena. The BBC has shared some hints, but hasn’t fully unveiled their identities yet. One guy is wielding a huge hammer as if he’s trying out for a role in a Marvel film. Let’s hope he sets it aside before the action begins – safety first, you know.
What Exciting Challenges Are Ahead?
Rejoice, Atlaspheres enthusiasts, as the human hamster-ball challenge is making its comeback. This was teased in the official trailer – they’re rolling around like it’s the mid-90s all over again. Contestants will scramble to hit floor markers while trying to dodge the Gladiators. It’s pure chaos, and we can’t get enough of it.
Additionally, there’s a new sprinting challenge where contestants strive to grab a flag while being pursued by a Gladiator. Looking forward to some epic mayhem in that one – Fire is already looking fast in the previews.
Classic events like Duel, Hang Tough, Gauntlet, and Power Ball are returning as well. Gauntlet has even received an upgrade with an extra Gladiator. Now, there are five obstacles instead of four. No slacking through it this time!
Who Came Out on Top in Season 1?
The finale of Season 1 was a real nail-biter. On the women’s side, it was Bronte hailing from Sheffield against Marie-Louise from Dublin. On the men’s end, Finlay (from Edinburgh) faced off against Wesley (from Leeds), who only made it in due to someone else dropping out – now that’s a stroke of luck!
In short, Marie-Louise and Finlay triumphed, making it up the Travelator first to seize the championship. Kudos to them both.
Will We See a Season 3?
Ah, the burning question – will this powerhouse continue? The BBC hasn’t made any announcements yet. However, given the smashing success of Season 1, there’s a good likelihood we’ll see more. If they start taking applications for contestants again, you’ll know it’s in the works.
