Galaxy S26 Series: What to Expect?
The Galaxy S26 series has been unveiled featuring the customary trio of models. We anticipate a Galaxy S26 FE in the future, but the S26 Edge might be as hard to find as hen’s teeth.
Samsung’s Unique Marvel?
After a chat with Samsung, I suspect the ultra-slim S25 Edge may not have a follow-up. Was it merely a fleeting moment of success?
Insights from Samsung’s Executive
I had a conversation with Kadesh Beckford, Senior Product Manager at Samsung UK, at their London store prior to Unpacked. When questioned if the Edge would return in 2026, he stated:
“We’ve gained insights from it [the S25 Edge] and incorporated those lessons into our other products. We’re continually assessing customer needs and delivering offerings that are worthy of purchase,” Beckford stated.
No Qi2 Magnets? Not an Issue!
Kadesh also suggested that the S25 Edge was somewhat of an experiment, mentioning that they’ve “applied our learnings” from it when referencing the absence of Qi2 magnets in the Galaxy S26 line.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is slightly thinner than its predecessor by 0.3mm, retains its integrated S Pen, and features a new Privacy Display.
Samsung’s Future Outlook
Beckford added, “I can’t reveal too much about what lies ahead, but we remain dedicated to delivering the right devices for diverse customers worldwide.”
