The 21st season is on the horizon. The competitors’ names were revealed some time back, and now we have the premiere date for the upcoming season.
As per tradition, Taskmaster will showcase five celebrities who will engage in a variety of eccentric challenges. The show will, as always, be hosted by the incomparable Taskmaster Greg Davies alongside his aide, Little Alex Horne.

The reality series will make its return on Channel 4 on Thursday, 9 April 2026. It will also be available for streaming on YouTube.
Who’s Competing This Season?
Meet the daring five who will be competing in season 21 of the program.
Amy Gledhill is a comedian, actress, and writer who claimed the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2024 for her show Make Me Look Fit On The Poster. She also received a nomination for Best Live Show at the National Comedy Awards 2023 and Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe for her stand-up The Girl Before The Girl You Marry.
Armando Iannucci is a satirist, author, director, producer, and performer. He developed the BAFTA-winning comedy series The Thick of It for the BBC and the political satire Veep for HBO, for which he secured two Emmy Awards.
Joanna Page is an actress and presenter who became well-known for her leading role in the beloved British sitcom Gavin & Stacey. Fans may also remember her as Just Judy in Love Actually.
Joel Dommett is a comedian, TV presenter, and actor, recognized for his role as DC Sweeney in Skins and for hosting reality shows such as I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Survivor.
Finally, Season 21 of Taskmaster will include actor, screenwriter, and stand-up comedian Kumail Nanjiani. He’s known for his role in Silicon Valley, but has also appeared in The Twilight Zone, Welcome to Chippendales, and Only Murders in the Building. He has received numerous honors and nominations, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for his film The Big Sick and two Emmy nominations for his acting.
