A collection of new specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra brings promising anticipation.
Setting aside the Privacy Display, the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup didn’t provide much excitement at its debut earlier this year.
However, as the Samsung Galaxy S27 leaks progressively emerge, it seems that the upcoming models may be significantly more intriguing.
A recent leak from China’s 3C certification authority, for instance, verifies that the innovative Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro model (which itself is a reason for positivity) and the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will advance battery capacities beyond what Samsung has achieved before.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra Batteries
This almost-official information indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will probably feature a 5200mAh battery, while the larger Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to have a 5700mAh cell.
While the Pro is a newly introduced device, its battery appears to be capacious compared to that of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, even though it’s slated to be a more compact device overall.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra, its 5700mAh battery will represent a significant 14% increase over the 5000mAh cell in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Of course, with Xiaomi now offering the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max featuring a whopping 9210mAh battery, we must temper our excitement to some degree. Nevertheless, this does mark progress.
It’s also revealed that both devices will include support for 60W wired charging, mirroring the capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Memory Leak
In other news, the South Korean site Naver has disclosed the rumored memory configurations for all three S27 variants. They aren’t particularly remarkable, except for the fact that all include 12GB of RAM, with the top-tier 1TB Galaxy S27 Ultra model sporting 16GB.
Both the Pro and the Ultra will utilize faster UFS 5.1 storage and LPDDR6 RAM, adding to their appeal.
Given the ongoing crisis in memory pricing, these impressive memory specifications suggest we should anticipate a price increase for the Samsung Galaxy S27 series. Prepare yourself – they are unlikely to be affordable.
