After three seasons, the talented main trio of *Only Murders in the Building* are well-known by now, and the eccentric inhabitants of the Arconia have been keeping us amused from the start. But hold on! Season 4 has arrived with a plethora of fresh faces, and some may have you saying, “Haway, is that really them?”
Hence, I’ve put together a compilation of all the celebrity appearances in season 4. Whether they’re on screen long enough to brew a cuppa or just enough to wave farewell doesn’t matter. I’ll update it weekly, so feel free to return if you’re as curious as I am.
Curious about when the next installments of this cherished Hulu mystery will be released? Be sure to check out the episode release schedule I’ve assembled over at [GadgetLad](https://www.gadgetlad.co.uk/only-murders-in-the-building-season-4-episode-release-schedule.html).
Alright, let’s get into the cast for season 4. Just a quick note: *Major spoilers for the series up to season 4, episode 2 follow*, so if you’re not all caught up, take a hike now or remain silent forever.
Meryl Streep as Loretta Durkin
Hulu
Loretta Durkin, first seen in season 3, is vying for a role in Oliver’s stage production—a Broadway opportunity that could be her major breakthrough. What’s more romantic than falling for the director? However, this love tale might not conclude with bouquets. Loretta scores a part in a *Grey’s Anatomy* spin-off and hurries off to LA. Additionally, she’s the biological mother of Dickie, Ben Glenroy’s sibling, whom she placed for adoption post-birth. Talk about some family issues.
For those unaware of Meryl Streep, you’ve either been living under a rock or, worse—using Internet Explorer. She’s a triple Academy Award winner and has graced blockbuster films like *Kramer vs. Kramer*, *The Devil Wears Prada*, *Mamma Mia*, and *Sophie’s Choice*. In short, she’s royalty in Hollywood.
Zach Galifianakis as himself
Hulu
Zach Galifianakis, appearing as himself, seems poised to take on the role of Oliver in the movie version of the *Only Murders in the Building* podcast. Quite unfortunate, as Zach and Oliver don’t appear to be friendly. They’ve hardly exchanged a civil word. Perhaps they just need to share a drink?
You’re likely familiar with Zach from *The Hangover* trilogy, where he portrays one of the most hilarious—and clueless—characters to ever appear on screen. But he’s also shone in *Birdman* and *Tulip Fever*, showcasing that he’s more than just a comedic face.
Eugene Levy as himself
Hulu
Eugene Levy, recognized for his bushy eyebrows and witty delivery, is set to portray Charles in the Hollywood version of the podcast. But similar to Zach and Oliver, Charles and Eugene don’t seem to be clicking, which is unfortunate because who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh from a mere raised eyebrow?
If you were unaware, Levy gained fame for his role as the father in the *American Pie* franchise and more recently as Johnny Rose in *Schitt’s Creek*, earning himself an Emmy. Not too shabby, is it?
Eva Longoria as herself
Hulu
Eva Longoria has been chosen by Paramount Studios to portray Mabel in the film adaptation of the podcast. The goal is to bridge the massive “age gap” between Mabel and the two older gentlemen—Oliver and Charles. Eva even provides Mabel with advice on negotiating the best deal from the producers. Good for you, Eva!
Eva Longoria became renowned for her role as Gabrielle Solis in *Desperate Housewives*. And if you haven’t tuned in to that series, you’ve missed some top-notch television.
Molly Shannon as Bev Melon
Hulu
Bev Melon, a name that could be better, is a producer at Paramount Studios, determined to transform the *Only Murders in the Building* podcast into a cinematic success. I sense she has quite the challenge ahead.
Molly Shannon is renowned for her time on SNL and has also graced titles like *Wet Hot American Summer*, *Promising Young Woman,* and *The White Lotus*. She’s a riot, and if you haven’t experienced her performances, you’re missing out.
